Feeling Festive?

Hell yeah.Summer has already started and that means music festivals too.Don't tell me you didn't shred a tear when you saw all those pictures from Coachella and you wished to be there.I feel you,I wanted to be there as well.Coachella is one of the earliest music festivals(usually starting in April),because most of other festivals usually happen during summer holidays.Fortunately,all of the music festivals in my country are coming pretty soon and I can't wait!
In this post I decided to make a list of the biggest and most-known festivals over the world with a little description to it and later I focused on festivals happening in Slovakia and in neighbouring states.Maybe it will help you choose, if you're still deciding which one to go to.

These are definitely not all festivals worth to mention,but at least those I knew something about.

Burning man
Nevada
This festival is happening each year in Black desert in Nevada although it first began in San Francisco.It is festival where all types of people meet and create art such as music,sculptures,dance,fireworks,costumes and lot more.Unfortunately it is very difficult to get there,because you need a car that is resistant to dirt and sand.Most of the car rentals in Nevada won't let you borrow a car from them if they think you're heading to this festival because it is very predictible that the car is going to get damaged.It is also known for and called after a ritual in which people burn huge wooden effigy.That's why most of the art stuff keeps burning.Because the parcel is really big,you can borrow a bike and travel with it across the festival.The only thing that keeps worrying me is the waking up in a tent in desert.

Tomorrowland
Belgium
I believe that everybody has heard about Tomorrowland already.It is the biggest annual electronic music festival in the world,taking place in Belgium.It is well known all over the world for its colorful and magical stages and mass of people attending each year.It also won few awards such as Best Music Event category in International Dance Music Awards.The headliners are always very famous and it is a great pleasure for them to play at this fest.

Ultra
Florida
is a outdoor electronic music festival taking place in Miami,Florida.Even though it is the biggest one,there is many more Ultra festivals over the world.For example in Split and Hvar in Croatia,Ibiza,Korea,Cape Town and Buenos Aires.

Wireless
England
Music festival taking place in England every year.It is one of the most popular in Britain with the biggest headliners such as Jay-Z,P!NK,Depeche Mode,Massive Attack and many more.The prices for this festival are really high,but if you decide to go,you can see Kendrick Lammar,Drake,Niki Minaj and Avicii's performances this year.

Glastonbury
England
A 5 day music festival also taking place in Britain.Mostly pop and rock headliners but also a lot of other types of art such as theathre,dance,comedy and circus.It first started in 1970 and it is now one of the most popular festivals in Britain.Past few years the attendance grew into 175,000 people.The interesting thing about Glastonbury is,that it has the biggest media coverage among all festivals.It is also the biggest greenfield festival in the world and still remains inspired by the hippie culture.

Electric Zoo
USA
Also an electronic music festival taking place in New York City held over the Labour day weekend.Again-lot of famous and well known headliners and great light effects.

Urban Art Forms
Austria
Urban Art Forms is a music festival happening near Graz,Austria and it mostly consists of DJ's and producers of electronic music.If you're a fan of drum and bass,this place is like a heaven for you.
This is my third year going to this festival and it is definitely one of the best I've been to.Did I mention DIE ANTWOORD are performing there this year?Along with Deadmaus,Glitch Mob,Noisia,Spor and more
The area also offers camping and a big lake and the music is playing until 7 am in the morning.

Pohoda
Slovakia
Pohoda is a total classic.Everybody from Slovakia goes there,even when the line-ups are getting weaker every year and the prices for tickets are going up.But lot of people still go to get drunk,have fun and meet their friends.That's the thing about Pohoda,if you are from Bratislava and you don't go,you can feel how empty the city is.You try to call your friends because you wanna go grab a beer or something,but they are at Pohoda.So what do you do?You get in a car,drive for a little bit and go to Pohoda with them.I didn't want to go there this year,but my boyfriend convinced me with:"Do you know how many people we know are going to be there?" and it totally worked.It's like a big party with all of your friends together.Also there is lot of fun activities to do such as bungee jumping,silent dico,roller skating track with disco music,photoboots,activities where you can get wet and lot of stands where they sell clothes,drinks,food and other stuff.Therefore lot of families with kids go there as well.The only thing I don't like about it is,that after 3 am there is usually no good music playing anywhere and everything is shut down.

Balaton sound
Hungary
One of Europe's largest open air festivals,taking place at lake Balaton in Hungary.It is a 4-day festival of all types of music,such as house,hip-hop,pop,rap and more.It was established together with Sziget festival.

Grape
Slovakia
is a small young festival taking place in Pieštany,Slovakia.Again,a lot of people from Slovakia go there because of its atmosphere and lot of fun activities.It is also very "hipster" music festival,where you can see lot of bloggers and fashion addicts who came there to show off.(Last year the dresscode was "hippie" and you could have seen lot of guys wearing flowers in their beards.)For me it's nearly the last festival in the year,because it is held in August.

Sziget
Also a festival taking place in Hungary,this time in Budapest on island called Óbudai-sziget.It is very popular in Europe and it was ranked one of the 5 best festivals in Europe by The Independent.Last year Arctic Monkeys performed there among with other very popular artists.I really want to go to Sziget at least once in my life,so hopefully next year it will work out.

LET IT ROLL
There are two LIR festivals.One is taking place in Slovakia,the other and bigger one in Czech Republic.Again it mostly consists of electronic music and drum and bass.At LIR I always get totally wild haha.LIR in Slovakia is the cheaper and smaller version of the one in Czech Republic but I know lot of my friends that go only to this one.

Fresh Island
Croatia
Hip Hop and Rap music festival taking place in Pag,Croatia,offering boat parties and beautiful and clear Adriatic Sea.I've also wanted to go to this one,but the line up is too weak this year.

Uprising
Slovakia
Finally a super chill and relaxed reggae festival  where everybody smokes weed and flows with positive energy.It is taking place in the capital city of Slovakia,Bratislava,on Golden Sands which is a lake where lot of people go during summer.As I said,reggae music is the main music playing on all stages,but later at night there is also lot of drum and bass.Because it is taking place in my city,I can go home at night/morning and sleep in my comfy bed,then come back the next day.:)

So that's pretty much it.Im sorry I didn't mention more festivals,but that would be a loooot of writing.Maybe next time. You can also expect more festival posts in upcoming weeks such as reviews from festivals I've been to,pictures,festival fashion and more.

Must Have this Summer

Today Im adding some must have items and clothes that I'll definitely need this summer.

I wanted to create a "stylebook", so put everything together in one picture with white background,but because I have mac,there is no such thig as "painting" and I don't know how to do it.

If you are one of my friends or family and you're reading this post,you can use it as birthday gift tips.haha

1.Nars lipstick

I think you all have heard about Nars Cosmetics.If I had enough money I would buy everything from them because their products are of a good quality and they create beautiful colours and shades.Technically speaking,I could buy similiar stuff in Mac cosmetics,but I am really obssesed with this burgundy lipstick and the design is sexy as hell too.

                                                                                            2.Ripped jean shorts

Black ripped jean shorts are a must have for this summer.They can go with everything either you want to look classy or trashy. I would also go for high waisted type, but unfortunately it looks really ridiculously on me.

                                                                                                3.Cactuses

  Mostly because other flowers always die in my presence,and because they are cute and small.I've already got two 3-packs in IKEA and I love them!

4.Reflective sunglasses are the trend of this summer and you can get them in many different colours and shapes.Personally I like the "mui mui" shape the most.

5.Big sun hat is one thing I should have bought last summer,but I will make it up this year.Perfect for wearing to the pool or beach but also if you're heading to have a brunch/lunch in the city.



















              6.Body Chains

 If you have nice body,or at least you're skinny and daring enough to wear something like this,DO IT.I think it's a beautiful piece of accessory for summer.You can wear them with bralette,bikini or crop tops but also with tops that have deep cleavage.

I also really want caged bikini top but I don't know where to get it.Any suggestions?Nasty Gal has something similiar but it's too expensive.

                8.Mixer

I kept telling my mom to buy a
mixer for 2 months now,and she finally heard my prayers.It's the best thing EVER because I can make smoothies and coctails every day.(My mojito is definitely worth to try :) )

   





9.White lader for flowers and herbs is something I will definitely make this summer and I'll write  D.I.Y post with all the instructions of how to make it.I want to put kitchen herbs such as mint,oregano,basil and others on it along with some colorful flowers.

                  10.Calvin Klein bra

I think this doesn't need an explanation and yeah,I know everybody has one already,but I feel like this is a thing you can wear forever and never get bored of it.

11.Super Stars are back!Too bad I never owned a pair,because I bet they got more expensive than they were when they first came out.I also like Pharell's collection,but these are total classic.

Magic hair

Sorry for not posting anything since I came back home from London,but I was really busy cathing up with my family,friends and the city itself.
Because the weather is perfect down here I also spent a lot of time catching up with my beloved sun that I missed so much in London.All this tanning and swimming turned my body into a little less pale but still pretty pale,fat dolphin.Yeah I know I promised myself I was gonna start going to gym at the begining of June,but the weather made it totally impossible to happen.That is because I take every little chance to spend the day outside.On the other hand,this "gym procrastinating thing" has its benefits.One of them is,that the sun has been doing its magic on my hair and it turned it into lighter colour.Now they finally look beachy as I want them to be.

Even though you can find many shades of blond colour in my hair and it has always been like this,I wanted to make them a little bit more light.The thing is,that I have never dyed my hair and I never will because it would totally damage them and also I would never be able to get the original colour back.That's why I decided to get ombre.

I did it myself for the first time in my life so it's not perfect,but because the colour only covers half of my hair,I can always cut it or change it.

I don't remember what brand was the hair colour,but I got it in Boots (UK) and it came with special brush to brush the colour into your hair (very easy to use :) )

Anyway,If you want to help to make your hair lighter, I recommend Bleach London silver shampoos.Unfortunately they might be little bit hard to get but Im sure they also ship them worldwide.

A cheaper alternative can be Schauma for grey hair.I was using it before I found Bleach London,but it takes quite a while to see the results.

The best thing to do is to combine these shampoos with the normal ones and be on the sun at least few hours every day.
Of course sun can be pretty dangerous for your hair,so if you want to avoid having dry,damaged and non-shiny hair,I highly recommend these L'oreal products:

Hair masks are also very good possibility to repair and nourish your hair and most of them are pretty cheap.I've recently tried ORS Olive Oil mask and it worked fantastically!

Anyway,If you don't want to spend money on hair masks and balms, home made olive oil mask or coconut oil are very good alternatives.
Home made olive oil mask is really easy to make,you only need 5-7 tablespoons of olive oil and two eggs which you mix together and apply to your hair.Wait 15 minutes and then rins it thoroughly.
If you decide to use coconut oil(my new obsession),just apply 2 teaspoons to wet hair using your hands and be careful to put the same amount on the entire lenght of the hair.
